Soprano Ana Caram from São Paulo presents an atmospheric combination of Brazilian vocals and American cool jazz on Blue Bossa. Caram, who worked with Bossa Nova great Antônio Carlos Jobim at the beginning of her career in the 1980s, knows how to convey the relaxed musical spirit of her homeland and interprets a beautiful selection of standards such as the title song "Blue Bossa" penned by Kenny Dorham or Jobim's "Desafinado".
